Ram Janam Ojhaila, a 26-year-old man of Patewarsugauli-2, Parsa staged a hunger strike against the irregularities of the rural municipality from December 6. He broke his hunger strike on the 11th day after the decision was taken to meet his demands. Before that, he had been on strike for five days. Ojhaila said that the strike was stopped after he was assured that the demands within the jurisdiction and the demands of the rural municipality would be met by the rural municipality and the remaining demands would be met.
"It has been agreed that the community school will reimburse the fee in the name of donation within 10 days. For modernization of agriculture, it has been agreed to buy three machines to plant paddy, wheat.' he said. A meeting was held at the District Administration Office, Parsa on December 16, under the coordination of Assistant Chief District Officer Bhim Kant Poudel. The meeting has decided to address issues related to agriculture, health, education, construction of sports infrastructure and other issues beyond the jurisdiction of the municipality. Similarly, the meeting also decided to hold a public hearing on the progress made by the rural municipality and inform everyone, said Assistant Chief District Officer Poudel.
