The victim's side lodged a complaint against 21-year-old Mahikun Kewat of Buddhabhumi Municipality-6 at the Ward Police Office, Chandrauta on December 24 on the charge of sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl. According to DSP Dharmaraj Bhandari of the District Police Office, a complaint was lodged alleging that the accused had sexually abused the victim on December 4. Police are searching for the absconding accused.
