Police arrested Indra Kumar Nembang, resident of Falgunanda rurual municipality-2-Imbung on December 26 accused of murdering his wife by hitting her with a grinding stone during the household dispute on December 24. His wife, 45-year-old Jivankumari Nembang who sustained a serious injury on the head died while undergoing treatment at Birtacity Hospital in Britamod. Police came to know about the incident only after the death of the victim.
