Man arrested on the charge of attempted rape in Bara

Police arrested 40-year-old man Lakhindra Hajara of Adrashakotwal rural municipality-2, on May 27, on the charge of attempting to rape a 35-year-old woman. The victim alleged that the accused attempted to rape her on May 27 while she was out to use toilet. The complaint was lodged on May 28. According to the police, 32-year-old Chitelal Hajara, another person involved in the incident has absconded.
