Locals and forest user group staged a demonstration in June 6, in Orali Bazar agitating after the attack of tigers increased near Madhuban municipality-2. The locals agitated after, a 49-year-old Kaushaka pal, lost her life before 13 days due to a tiger attack while she was in the Janajagruti Community Forest to collect fodder and on June 6 morning, Asmita Tharu, a 49-year-old woman was injured on a tiger attack. The locals initiated traffic strike in the leadership of ward chairperson Kaliram Tharu after the attack started to occur frequently.
People from the villages demonstrated by burning tires on the roads, saying that the government was indifferent towards the wildlife victims and the forest officials did not reach the spot. Chairperson of the forest user group Tharu said that the forest area should be cordoned off and the strike would continue till the forest officials arrive.

Police and the local clashed in Bardiya during a demonstration on June 6. Nabina Chaudhary a 18-year-old teenage girl was killed and twenty others were injured in the clash. The demonstrators torched two motorcycle. Police fired twenty rounds of warning shots to control the situation.
