Teachers and staffs of Jaljala Multiple Campus in Rolpa have started indefinite agitation citing lack of benefits and services. The agitation started on Tuesday stating that the administration affiliated to the Midwestern University and the staff affiliated to the central campus have been discriminated in the service.
Payment of below grade salary, discriminatory change in Act and regulations, cut in dress allowance amongst other have been cited as the cause of the agitation. They have been demanding an arrangement to deposit the amount in the account of the person by making an agreement with the Citizens Investment Fund and Employees Provident Fund. Managing staff professors on all affiliated campuses; Former Campus Chief Krishna Prasad Neupane, who is also the coordinator of the movement, said that the agitation was carried out indefinitely by demanding that the part-time, contract and temporary professors or staff working during the university integration process should be made permanent as soon as possible.
