Parents have padlocked the administration office of Sidhadevi Primary School in Phidim Municipality-10 of Panchthar saying that the Principal is spoiling the educational environment. Angry parents padlocked the school in the afternoon on 23 June 2022, accusing the principal Kusumahang Thamsuhang of dissolving the management committee and negatively impacting study and being involved in financial irregularities. Thamsuhang is also accused of not allowing teacher Rita Tumbapo to attend the school since the past 4 months.
