Police arrested 25-year-old Bikram Gandharva, on July 2 on the charge of physically assaulting 32-year-old Chija Gurung, of Nayabasti in Bhanu Municipality-1 of Tanahu on July 1 evening. According to the Area Police Office, the accused was arrested after the locals informed the police about the incident. Tulasi Gaire, a member of the human rights group, said that the victim is undergoing treatment at the Health post.
