Accused of rape arrested in Surkhet

Police on July 11 arrested 24-year-old Ramesh Puri of Barahtal Rural Municipality-3 in Surkhet on the charge of raping a 24-year-old woman. The victim filed a complaint at Surkhet District Police Office on July 11, saying that the accused raped her on June 1. The victim's medical examination was conducted at Karnali Province Hospital on 12 July.
