Sushil Bista,24, Laxman Sunar,19, and Prithvi Bhat Chhetri,19, of Punarwas Municipality-9 including Yama Prasad Jaishi, 23, an armed Police Officer working in the BOP Branch were arrested on the charge of gang-raping a 20-year-old girl at Kanchanpur on July 7. The accused were arrested on July 9 after the complaint was lodged of the complaint. Accused Sushil was a boyfriend of the victim, who took the victim on a motorcycle for luring her to get married. Police Office Kanchanpur has said that further investigation is underway into the incident.
