CPN-UML stages demonstration in Rupandehi demanding to take legal action against the DSP accused of mistreating ward chairperson

CPN-UML staged a demonstration in Rupandehi on July 18 demanding to take legal action against a Thug Bahadur KC, a police officer who pushed Hari Bahadur Chetri, ward chairperson of Tilottama municipality-4 into the swimming pool on July 17 while intervening at the protest of CPN-UML's local representatives.
Condemning the incident, CPN UML Rupandehi has requested the Chief District Officer to take action against DSP KC and Municipal Chief Administrative Officer Jeevan Gyawali. On Monday, the district level leader and an elected representative from CPN-UML in Tilottama Municipality reached the district administration office with a memorandum.
