Rural municipality sub-engineer assaulted in Rukum West

Raju Shahi, president of Nepal Tarun Dal, Banfikot, has been arrested for physically assaulting sub-engineer Deepak Shah in front of Jan Kumar Bantha Magar, chairperson of Banfikot Rural Municipality in West Rukum at office premises. According to reports, Shahi assaulted the sub-engineer for refusing to perform the evaluation of the Morawang Domai road work construction as per Shahi's instruction. Police are further investigating the incident.
