Police arrested Prem Nuri Sherpa, 40- years-old, on the charge of beating to death his 34-year-old wife Lhakpa Puti Sherpa of Chishankhugarhi Rural Municipality-4 in Okhaldhunga on July 26. During a domestic dispute, the accused physically assaulted her resulting in her death on July 23. According to police, the accused admitted that he got on an impulse, beat his wife with a stick, injured her, and later died during treatment at the hospital on 26 July.
