Police arrested a 40-year-old man, Sandesh Rai of Mahakulung rural municipality-1, on July 27, on the charge of attempting to rape a 20-year-old woman. According to the victim, the accused attempted to rape the victim on July 23 in Dudhkoshi rural municipality-6.
