Police have arrested a 14-year-old boy on the charge of raping six minor girls in Banchpuri of Surkhet. According to Surkhet police, the teenager reportedly raped the minor victims aged Five to Seven years old in a span of one month by luring them with treats.

The incident became public after one of the victims told about the incident to her parents. The girls family filed a complaint at Area Police Office Babiyachur on July 27. Police arrested the accused boy on the basis of the complaint on July 31. During interrogation the boy confessed to have raped the girl once. Police are further investigating the incident.
