Kul Bahadur Baral, a 37-year-old man also known as Bikas Thapa of Bagnaskali rural municipality-6 of Palpa district was arrested on August 9, on the charge of raping a 19-year-old teenage girl. The victim lodged the complaint on August 9 alleging that the accused raped her on August 8 in a Namobuddha Hotel of Butwal sub-metropolis-9 by tempting her to get married alleging that he was an Indian Army and liked her. The victim alleged that the accused took her picture after raping her and threatened her that if she disclosed the incident to anyone, he would publish her picture on Social Media.
