Employees of community schools, who have been agitating with various demands including guarantee of their full employment security, have sat on a dharna at Maitighar Mandala.
Prem Bahadur Bhandari, Deputy Secretary General of the Nepal School Employee Council, informed that on the third day of the protest, there will be a sit-in at Maitighar Mandala for 3 hours from 11:00 am today. They are sitting on dharna with placards with different slogans on their chests. Earlier, they staged a sit-in at the Education and Human Resource Development Center on August 17 and 18. They also locked the main gate of the center yesterday. They complain that the state does not want to listen to their demands despite peaceful protests.
