There has been a clash between municipal police and street vendors in Janakpurdham. The clash took place when there was a dispute over the removal of roadblocks in Janakichowk of Janakpurdham. Locals of Janakichowk said that the municipal police used force to remove the stalls put up by the street vendors on the roadside to sell puja materials for the Krishnashtami fair. After the municipal police used force, the local youths were also angry. At the same time, there was a clash. It is reported that the municipal police also hit a local 6-year-old boy with a stick. After receiving the news of the clash, the police team that went from the District Police Office Dhanusha arrested 9 people including Kishan Mandal, Kanhaiya Das, Subhash Sah, Sonu Sah from Janki Chowk and took them to the District Police Office.
