The doctors and health workers of Karnali Academy of Health Science in Jumla have started a demonstration in protest demanding a fair investigation into the physical assault on doctor Karan Sah and strict action against the culprits on August 21. They submitted a memorandum to the District Administration Office, Jumla regarding the incident, and demanded punishment according to the Health Act. Dhan Bahadur Shahi, an employee of the institution's administration, physically assaulted  Dr. Sah on August 18 for not cutting his son's stitches and getting death threatened.
