Police on August 20 arrested 18-year-old Binod Tiruwa of Sannitribeni Rural Municipality-1 in Kalikot on the charge of raping an 11-year-old girl. Police arrested Tiruwa on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim's family on the same day at District Police Office Kalikot. In the complaint, the victim reported that Tiruwa raped her on August 18 afternoon by calling her to his garden. The victim underwent a medical examination at Kalikot district hospital.
