The relatives of thirty two year old, Firoj Miya Ansari who died while undergoing treatment demonstrated against the health professional Dr. Asif Ansari working at Birgunj Health Care Hospital. The relatives blamed Dr. Ansari's carelessness for Firoj's death and staged a protest rally at Birgunj on August 29. 

Firoj was admitted to the hospital for the treatment of kidney stone on August 11. The family of deceased blamed the doctor of slitting the vein during surgery. Firoj was later transferred to Mediciti hospital in Kathmandu after his health status worsened, where he died on August 21.  

The relatives also accused Nepal Doctor's Association for trying to protect Dr. Ansari. The association conducted press meet on August 22, a day after Firoj's death and claimed that it was due to illness and not due to doctor's carelessness.
