Students of Dashrathchand Secondary School located at Dasharathchand municipality-5, of Baitadi, staged a sit-in in front of the district administrative office demanding protection of children's rights on September 11. The students of Dashrathchand were agitated after a 30-year-old local Sudip Chand physically assaulted Prem Chand a student of grade 9 inside the school premises for making noise. The demonstrators chanted slogans demanding to give freedom to play and read.
