Health workers working in District Hospital Lamjung have been agitated demanding guarantee of their job security. The agitated health workers have started tying a black armband on their left hand as a protest. They also staged a demonstration at the hospital gate on September 12. The agitated health workers are demanding that the government should properly manage the staff before handing over the hospital to the government. The employees have submitted a memorandum to the provincial government, Ministry of Health and Population, Health Minister Madhu Adhikari Gurung through the Chief District Officer Sushil Vaidya, demanding job security.
