Locals of Badagaon in Musikot municipality of Kalikot padlocked the office of Kholapani, Dharampani, Maidan Drinking Water Consumer's Committee protesting against the failure of the committee to provide safe drinking water despite collecting money from the consumers. Locals stated that the committee collected Rs 2,000 from each household for delivery of drinking water. They are demanding the return of the money within the next five days. Meanwhile, a representative of the committee Hiranyalal Ghimire lamented the padlock and called for the protesting parties to come into dialogue.
