Industrialists and businessmen of Bardiya have protested against the increase in interest rates by the banks to be implemented from the month of Kartik 2079. District Coordinating Committee of Industrial and Commercial Association Bardiya staged demonstration in Gulariya on October 21. After the demonstration, they sent a memorandum to the Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank through Chief District Officer Bandhu Prasad Bastola. In the memorandum, they warned that they are in trouble due to the high-interest rate of the loan and this will increase the price in the market and the general public will also be affected by the price increase.
