A 21-year-old victim woman lodged a complaint of rape attempt against Shiva Kumar Lama, a 41-year-old ward member of Bidur municipality-4, on November 11, on the charge of attempting to rape her. According to the police, the victim's relatives lodged a verbal complaint against the accused on November 10, alleging that the accused attempted to rape the victim on November 10 and the accused was arrested the same day.  The victim underwent a medical examination at district hospital in Trishuli on November 11.
