28-year-old Yangzor Karki, 29-year-old Lavjankarki and other youths were accused of physically assaulting Than Bahadur Rokaya Chairperson of Sarkegad rural municipality in Humla and 30-year-old Nara Bahadur Rawat, the chief administrative officer of Sarkegad rural municipality and resident of Sarkegad rural municipality-2 on November 10. 

Rawat, the chief administrative officer, said that the rural municipality had organized a written examination and interview for the recruitment of 54 contract employees and the locals accused of irregularity in the recruitment process. On  November 10 during a discussion about the recruitment of the contract employees in the ward office in the afternoon, Rawat and the Chairperson were assaulted, informed Rawat. According to Rawat the assailants youths belong to Nepali Congress. Rawat sustained minor injury on his mouth in the incident.
