Student unions affiliated to different political parties including ANNFSU, ANNFSU (Revolutionary), NSU, and ANNFSU 6th staged a demonstration on November 29 in Chitawan Agriculture University alleging that the information about filling out the online application form for the entrance examination at the university published on November 15 by the university was objectionable and flawed. The demonstrators expressed their disagreement in a five spoints. Bikram Khanal, Chairperson of ANNFSU Central Campus Committee alleged that there was no information about when the curriculum was created, whether it had completed the legal process or not, and from which agency it was approved it.
Demonstrators were also agitated saying that the combined score did not meet the minimal educational requirements for taking the admission exam. The requirement for participation in the admission exam, which was formerly set at 50% for certificate-level students exclusively, has been lowered to 45% presently. Demonstrators further claimed that this proportion has been lowered in order to encourage more students to pass because there aren't enough students attending private universities. Due to a shortage of students in the private institutions linked with the university, the students claim that the officials lowered the admission exam minimal score to tempt them.
