Cadres of CPN Maoist Center have padlocked the office of Adanchuli Rural municipality of Humla regarding dispute at the rural municipality over appointment of acting officer at the office. The municipality had obstructed acting administrative officer Meghnath Shahi and Accountant Datta Bahadur Thapa from entering attendance at the office over their alleged involvement in the embezzlement of around rupees three crores. Shahi was appointed by the rural municipality chairperson Mohan Bikram Singh after former acting administrative officer Takadatta Pyakurel was suspended by CIAA for alleged corruption. Rural municipality deputy-chairperson had appointed Hansa Mahatara as the acting administrative officer. 

CPN Maoist Center cadres padlocked the office of the administrative head, account department, engineering department and information officer's section over the same dispute.
