Police on January 17 arrested 53-year-old Indra Bahadur Bhandari of Dhaulagiri rural municipality-3 in Myagdi Muna on the charge of murdering his 28-year-old daughter-in-law Anita Rana. According to the police, the accused attacked the victim with a wooden plank over a minor dispute. The victim who sustained serious in the attack lost her life while undergoing medical treatment at Beni hospital. Police are further investigating the incident.
