Police on January 27 arrested Teku Ojha a 22-year-old youth from Dhankuta municipality-7 in Dhankuta on the charge of publicly humiliating Baburam Luitel a 42-year-old man of Biratnagar metropolis-15 currently working as a chief of  Transport Management Service Office Dhankuta. According to the police, the accused smeared black on the face of the victim on January 25 in his office by accusing him of taking bribes while distributing a driver's license. 

Mohan Ghal, Dhankuta Coordinator of the CPN (Majority Party), claimed that Luitel was punished by the CPN (Majority Party) for taking bribes and embezzling government funds. The CPN (Majority Party) issued a statement on January 29 and demanded the release of Luitel.
