The cadres and leaders of Nagarik Unmukti Party demonstrated in Bouniya of Kailali district condemning the arrest of Arun Chaudhary, a member of Parliament elected from Kailali constituency no. 2 from the party. A police team deployed from Criminal Division, Kathmandu arrested Chaudhary on the afternoon of February 2 from Kohalpur, Banke. He hadn't served 6 months prison sentence announced by the court, 13 years back related to arson. 

The demonstrators protested against the government's move and warned transportation strike from morning 10 am on February 3.
