Medical officer of Beni hospital halts X-ray service over non-receipt of salary

The medical officers working at Beni Hospital, the only government hospital in Myagdi, halted the video x-ray service on March 13, stating that they have not been paid salary even after working more than the prescribed amount. The doctors say that the service was stopped after their demands were not addressed despite being informed several times verbally and in writing.
