Madhes, Parsa, Birgunj

Cadres of NSU affiliated with Nepali Congress staged a demonstration demanding the resignation of the Campus Chief and padlocked the Birgunj Nursing Campus in Parsa protesting over the outcome of the Free students union election on March 20. The NSU claimed that except in the post of chairperson and direct candidate, all ANNFSU candidates have been elected during the FSU election and the role of the campus chief throughout the election process has been dubious.

According to the memorandum published by the NSU the campus chief Jamuna Bhattarai appealed for voters to vote for ANNFSU and further registered their names for the candidacy even after the nomination period was over. They further alleged that the teachers threatened students to cast vote for the ANNFSU claiming that otherwise they would reduce their scored marks.  Whereas the campus chief Bhattarai denied the allegations made by the NSU.
