Police recovered the dead body of Sharada KC a 41-year-old woman of the Ghorahi sub-metropolis-12 on April 19 buried in near her own home. According to the police, the neighbor saw a human feet buried in the shed and informed the police. The dead body was recovered in a decomposed state and according to the initial investigation, police suspect that she was murdered. 

The daughter of the deceased, Dipa KC a 21-year-old youth lodged the complaint against her father Megh Raj Karki a 44-year-old man and her grandmother Bhuma Kumari Khatri a 67-year-old woman on April 20, on the accusation of murdering her mother.  Dipa alleged that the accused murdered her mother on April 14 night because  Meghraj, the husband of the victim, used to physically assault her multiple times while he was under the influence of alcohol.
