Police arrested Umesh Sah a 38-year-old man on April 21, on the charge of murdering his 26-year-old wife Aarati Sah of Gaushala municipality-4. The father of the victim lodged the complaint against the accused and his sister Aasha Sah on April 21 accusing them of poisoning Aarati to death. The accused alleged that the victim consumed the rat poison when she was taken to the trauma center of the hospital. The victim lost her life while undergoing medical treatment. Police are further investigating the incident. According to the victim's brother-in-law, Aarati used to be regularly subjected to domestic violence by her family.
