Nepal Bar Association staged a demonstration in Kathmandu on April 29 demanding to the appointment of a Chief Justice. The demonstrators displayed placards that stated 'fulfill the constitutional obligations, appoint the Chief Justice without delay, immediately appoint the vacant judges in the Supreme Court and all the courts, protect the independent judiciary', etc.
