A complaint was lodged against a local man named Surtan Yadav of Gaushala municipality-1, on the charge of humiliating a 16-year-old teen boy Abinas Paswan on the basis of caste-based discrimination in Mahottari. According to the police, the accused hurled caste-based insults and physically assaulted him. Police further asserted that the accused did not let him eat in the tent since he was from a lower caste on May 9.
