A complaint was lodged against Shailendra Chaudhary a 26-year-old man of Rajapur municipality-8 on the charge of murdering Sumad Rani Tharu a 22-year-old woman of Kohalpur municipality-6. According to the police, the dead body of the victim was recovered from her room on May 12. Police further added that the accused was raged after the victim refused his love proposal and as a result, he charged the accused with a sharp weapon in her head and neck. According to the brother of the victim, the accused used to mentally torture the victim to get married to him. The accused is on the run after the incident.
