Locals of Belaka municipality-4 staged a demonstration and torched a tripper bearing the number plate of Madhesh Province-2-01-001 ka 0024 on May 19 after Anjila Rana Magar a 4-year-old minor girl was killed in a traffic accident. According to the police, a tripper bearing a number plate of Madhesh Province 2-03-0001 kha 4309 hit the victim in Madan Bhandari Highway where the victim lost her life on the spot. After the incident, the tipper and the driver, 23-year-old Tukraj Tamang of Katari Municipality-2, were taken into custody by the Rampur area police office.

The demonstrators also vandalized the fire brigade of Chaudandigadi municipality which went to extinguish the fire in Tipper. Police said that the vandalized fire brigade is not in a operational state.
