Police on Sunday opened fire and arrested a member of a gang involved in drug trafficking in Kathmandu’s Sinamangal.
A team of the Narcotics Control Bureau opened fire on Bikash Bhagat and arrested him on suspicion of being involved in drug trafficking.
Head of Narcotics Control Bureau Govinda Thapaliya informed that Bhagat, who was injured in the shooting, was sent to Kathmandu Medical College for treatment.
Police seized 100 grams of narcotics from Bhagat.
