Abdul Shah Fakir of Hariharupur municipality-3, Farahadawa murdered his wife Ida Khatun(23) in the pretext of not bringing a dowry amount of 1 lakh rupees.

She had earlier gone to her parental house after being tortured physically and mentally by the husband but returned back to living with husband after discussion with the family. The information about murder was known only after 5 year old grandson Kamlen mentioned about it, said the deceased father. The deceased body was covered with soil and cloth stuffed in the mouth. Ida who died with assault was hung later. 

Police have arrested two, including her husband for further investigation.
