District Court of Jhapa has ordered to remand, 70-year-old Bhes Raj Pokhrel and his son 42-year-old Hem Raj Pokhrel of Bhadrapur Municipality-10 in custody on January 6 on a charge of raping a 14-year-old girl. The accused were arrested by the police on December 14 based on the complaint lodged by the victim on December 12. The girl, in her complaint, said that the duo had been raping her for the past two years. The father was arrested on the same day of filing of the complaint while the son was arrested on December 14. After the court's order, the accused were remanded in Jhapa Prison on January 7, said SI Subash KC of DPO, Jhapa. The victim underwent health checkup at Mechi Zonagbvl hospital, Bhadrapur on December 12.gb
