Purna Maya Thapa, 40, of Batase VDC-2 has lodged a complaint at District Police Office on January 7 against her husband Ben Bahadur Thapa, 41, for assaulting and expelling her from the house. The accused had assaulted the victim and expelled her from the house on December 27 and since then she has taken shelter in her maternal house at Chautara. Rita Khadka of Women and Children Service Center said that the accused lives in Kathmandu and that's why it is being difficult to arrest him.
