Police arrested 25-year-old Tek Serchan from Potlekhet VDC-4 on the charges of raping a 3-year-old girl on January 9. Police inspector Bimal Upadhyaya said that the arrest was made in response to a complaint filed by the relatives of the minor girl on January 9. In the complaint, the victim's relatives accused Serchan of raping the girl on January 8. The victim has undergone medical examination at District Hospital and police said that they are carrying out further investigation on the incident.
