On January 11, 2015, the District Court has ordered 64-year-old Lal Bahadur Rai, a resident of Rajarani VDC-7 to be remanded in custody for allegedly raping a 43-year-old disabled woman. In a complaint filed by the victim's relatives on December 18, 2014, they stated that Rai had raped the woman on December 8 while she was sleeping in her garden during the day.
