A case of bigamy has been filed against Keshar Bahadur Khatri, 30, of Banspani VDC-3 at District Court, Khotang on January 14 on the charge of bigamy. His wife Man Kumari Khatri, 33, filed a complaint at District Police Office on January accusing him of second marriage on which basis the case was taken to court, SI Yadav Gautam informed. Man Kumari said that she and Keshar had got married in 2006 adding despite having a son, aged 8 and a daughter aged 9, took Samjhana Kandel, 28, of Sangkhuwasabha. Police arrested the accused husband don January 13 while the accused second wife remains absconding. Police said a case under polygamy of the Country Code was filed against him at the court.
