Aita Maya Tamang, and her husband Buddhi Bahadur Tamang, 75, of Bhorle VDC-5, have been assaulted by Mohan Singh Tamang on January 21 accusing them of being witches. Thing assaulted them accusing them of causing illness to his daughter. A team headed from Kalikasthan Police Station has been searching for the accused. The couple was treated at Chiti Health Post in Bhorle VDC and then taken to Janamaitri Hospital, Balaju in Kathmandu for further treatment.
