Man arrested on charge of attempt to rape

Police have arrested Tilakram Raut, 39, of Sharada Municipality-13, Salyan on February 13 on the charge of trying to rape a 17-year-old girl a day earlier. DSP Prabin Pokharel said that the police had begun an investigation of the case after being brought to the District Police Office from Timure. The girl filed a complaint at the police station in Timure VDC. Police said that Raut tried to assault her while she was working in the mess.
