The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Friday filed a charge sheet at Special Court (SC) against three people for allegedly misappropriating‬ the government budget allocated for educating primary school children in Dhanusha. The anti-graft body filed the case against Mandir Khatwe, Chairperson‬ of the School Management Committee and ‪Principal‬ Shivaji Mandal (Khatwe ) and ‪Resource‬ Person Udhav Bahadur Acharya of Sahid Rastriya Primary School, Dhanushadham-2 for embezzlement of money by providing fake and forged documents to establish a fake school, thereby adversely affecting and damaging the public school for personal interest, reads a press statement issued by CIAA today. According to CIAA, they were charged as per Sec 17 of Prevention of Corruption Act 2002 and sought a fine of Rs 9, 92, 531 along with maximum punishment as per Sec 3(1)(e) of the same Act.
